The daily challenge
One board, the same for everyone, one attempt a day. Your score is your score. Miss a day and it waits in the archive. The daily is free, every day.
Play any time
A fresh board whenever you want one, in three sizes: small at 5×5, medium at 6×6, large at 7×7. The large board asks for four-letter words, the other two take three, and each size keeps its own leaderboard.
Twenty boards
Bone, ebony, sea glass, ruby, gold, gunmetal, walnut, jade and twelve more. Swipe through them on the menu and pick one. Dark glass and bone are free; the rest come with the unlock.
The gates
Every ten words the world sinks a gate deeper. The light thins, the art changes, and the clock runs faster. Seven named places lie below the surface — the underroot, the echo vaults, the drowned archive — and past the seventh gate they are only numbered. Nobody has seen the bottom.
Cascades
The letters you spend fall away. Plan it right and the fall spells a word of its own and pays you for it. Chain cascades for up to ×6.
Special days
On holidays the board hides a dozen bonus words worth triple — only on the day itself. Each language keeps its own calendar of special days.
Six languages
Play in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian or Portuguese. Each language has its own dictionary, its own letters and its own special days.

Leaderboards for the daily and for each board size, and achievements, in Game Center. Your streaks and history sync across your devices through iCloud.
